Last year I photographed a special Valentine's day party at a senior life service center called Riverstone in Washington Heights, NY.

Prime Minister Rutte visiting President Obama | November 29, 2011

Last Monday and Tuesday I photographed the Dutch Prime Minister Rutte visiting Washington DC for a meeting with President Obama in the White House. Photographing for the Dutch Embassy made it possible to photograph Prime Minister Rutte during on and off-press moments during his trip. It was an amazing experience!

If you'd like to see more images you can find them here!

New York Times Lens Blog | November 14, 2011

I'm very proud to announce that the New York Times published my Bronxites series today on the NYTimes Lens Blog!

"She has carefully rendered her adopted borough in a series of softly lighted portraits with warm, rich tones. The paint-encrusted walls and plastic-covered furniture are familiar to anyone who has spent time in the area where she began her portrait series, which is known as University Heights, just south of Fordham Road. So, too, are the faces — alternately weary, serene or happy".
David Gonzalez, for The New York Times, November 14th 2011
